98-Year-Old Mum Moves Into Care Home To Look After Her 80-Year-Old Son

They say a child is an 18-year commitment but everyone knows it lasts much longer than that – especially for 98-year-old Ada Keating.

Ada’s eldest son 80-year-old Tom Keating has been living in Moss View care home in Liverpool since 2016 and now she’s decided to join him to help look after him.

The mum and son are inseparable long into both their retirements and love spending time together – especially watching Emmerdale.



When the Liverpool Echo asked Ada about her and her son's unsual arrangement she responded, 'you never stop being a mum!'

Too true Ada, too true.

Sounds like she doesn't give Tom a break either just because he's in his 80s:

    She’s very good at looking after me. Sometimes she’ll say ‘Behave yourself!’

We wish the pair get many more years together keeping each other happy and looking out for one another. What more can you ask for in old age?
